| Location: | New York City, NY | |||||||||
| Bio: | CHARACTER NAME: Magdalena "Maggie" Eloise Schwartz CHARACTER ALIAS: (if applicable) Misfit PB: Ellen Page AGE: 14 (dob: 15 May 1998) SEX/SEXUAL PREFERENCE: Female/Whatever she's feeling like at the time AIM/JOURNAL NAME: OCCUPATION: Slacker masquerading as a high student; high school dropout hopeful POWER/ABILITY: Projecting pyrotechnic energy plasmoids, with the following stunts: sparks, concussive blasts, and explosively charge objects with the pyrotechnic energy STATUS: (hero, villain, or fencer) Um, none of the above? Heroes are idiotic and die, villains hurt people, and fencers are pushers. (But you can go with hero) PAST/BIO: (what they've been doing the past five years for Canon characters): Maggie's a New York native and is just waiting to get out. But she's only fourteen and that isn't even old enough to work. She's the youngest of five, the 'change of life' daughter (the closest sib in age to her is a sister who is twelve years older than she is). All her sibs are crazy things like rocket scientists, lawyers, junior vice president in a prominent advertising firm...and then there's her. In her second year of high school, not excited by anything at school, or the way her family keeps on insinuating that she's gonna be going to an Ivy League. She waxes philosophy, likes annoying the cheerleaders, jocks, goths, emos, anybody, really. School is a bore and she's often ditching and then comes up with creative excuses for her parents. They keep on buying it. Or, if they don't, they aren't good at enforcing what they want her to do. Things started taking a weird turn last year when, while out drinking with a couple of good friends, she found she could shoot sparks from her fingers. Sparks. Colourful blobules of fire. And that wasn't all. She could make objects explode, too. That's really what caused the fire in the kitchen. It wasn't the oven like she said. Not only was she an outcast, but it seemed she was a freak, too. A freak like the ones that are talked about all the time on the news who get dragged away from their homes and moved to places unknown. Yeah, the real fun kind of freak that nobody wanted to be unless they wanted to fear for their lives. Nobody knows about what she can do and they aren't going to know. When it comes to the world these days, you can't trust anybody.
